Follow-gate
Links for followers only
Follow-gate turns a comment-to-DM campaign into follower growth: people who want the link have a reason to follow you first.
- 01
How it works
- 01Someone comments your keyword.
- 02They receive a DM with a “Get link” button.
- 03When they tap it, Capsflowlab checks whether they follow you.
- 04Followers get the link. Non-followers are asked to follow and tap again. Pending taps are swept every 10 minutes and expire after 7 days.
- 02
Why the tap is needed
Instagram’s API only reveals whether someone follows you after that person has interacted with your DMs. The tap is that interaction. It also opens the 24-hour messaging window, so the link can be delivered reliably.
