Capsflowlab

How it works

From comment to DM in four steps

Capsflowlab listens to comment notifications that Meta sends for your account, matches them against your keywords, and replies privately through the official Instagram API.

  1. 01

    Set up once

    1. 01Connect: sign in with Instagram on instagram.com and approve the permissions. We never see your password.
    2. 02Choose posts: pick a specific Reel or post, or apply the automation to all posts.
    3. 03Set keywords: for example "link", "price" or "guide". Hindi and Hinglish keywords work, and you can choose whole-word, contains or exact matching.
    4. 04Write the DM: the message and an optional button link. The editor checks the 1,000-character limit and shows a preview.
  2. 02

    What happens when someone comments

Meta sends a webhook to Capsflowlab within seconds. We verify its signature, check that the comment matches an active automation, and queue the reply. The private reply goes to the commenter’s DMs, and an optional public reply can be posted under the comment.

If follow-gate is on, people who already follow you get the link straight away; everyone else gets a “Get link” button that checks the follow first. Every attempt is logged in Activity with the real API result.

  3. 03

    Limits Instagram sets

    • One private reply per comment, within 7 days of the comment.
    • Further messages only inside the 24-hour window after the person messages you or taps a button.
    • Only Business or Creator accounts can use the API.

Common questions

How fast is the DM sent?

Usually within a few seconds of the comment, depending on when Meta delivers the webhook. Queued jobs retry with backoff if Instagram is slow or rate-limits the account.

Is this allowed by Instagram?

Yes. Capsflowlab uses Meta's official Instagram API with Instagram Login. It sends a private reply, which Instagram allows once per comment within 7 days of the comment being posted. We do not scrape, use passwords, or send unsolicited bulk DMs.
