Professional accounts and automation

Instagram only gives API access to professional accounts. Switching is free, takes a minute, and does not affect your followers or posts.

    Creator or Business?

    • Creator: for influencers, artists and public figures. Flexible contact options.
    • Business: for brands, shops and services. Adds contact buttons and shop features.
    • Both work with Capsflowlab.
  2. 02

    How to switch

    1. 01Open Instagram and go to your profile.
    2. 02Open Settings → Account type and tools.
    3. 03Choose Switch to professional account and follow the steps.
    4. 04Turn on “Allow access to messages” under Settings → Messages and story replies → Message controls → Connected tools.
